The Bears and Raiders proved superior again in Week 2 of PAL Flag Football, winning each of their games handedly. The Bears jumped out in front of the Browns and never looked back, moving to 2-0 with a 36-24 victory. A bad snap doomed the Browns from the first play of the game, resulting in a safety for the Bears. Richard Annan of the Bears took over the game, scoring on four separate occasions. Ryan Williams tried to rally the Browns back from their deficit, scoring three touchdowns and intercepting a pass on defense, but it was not enough to beat the dominating Bears.
The Raiders also took over the first place spot in their respective division, beating the Dolphins 32-20. Chris Robinson and Myles Hughes stole the show, connecting for scores four times in the game for the Raiders. Jonathan Pinghera threw two touchdowns after taking over the quarterback position for the Dolphins, but the game was out of hand by that point.
The Ravens earned their first win of the season, holding off the Falcons 36-28. The Ravens jumped out to a 22-0 lead, but reliquished control after the Falcons scored 28 unanswered points. David Mongelluzi lead the Ravens throughout the games with three touchdowns, one of which was the go ahead touchdown late in the fourth quarter. His counterpart David Robinson scoring three touchdowns for the Falcons in their losing effort.
The Bengals also moved to 1-1 on the season, staving off a back and forth battle with the Steelers, 26-24. Sean Regan lead the Steelers with four touchdown passes, two of them to Derrick Osoro, and a pair of interceptions, but could not convert on a two point conversion in the final minute to tie the ballgame. Moses Carter dominated the Steelers defense, scoring three touchdowns for the Bengals (and added an interception during the games).
