Bears Win Flag Football Championship

The Bears are PAL Winter Flag Football Champions after a 56-18 onslaught of the Falcons. The Falcons scored on the first play of the game as Ryan Jacobs threw one of his three touchdown passes to Andrew Bollinger. However, the Bears, who were able to methodically move the ball up and down the field all game long, responded with a quick score to tie the game. The Bears and Falcons exchanged points twice more before the Bears took the lead as time expired in the first half, 26-18.

Liam Bochow and the Bears then gained total control in the second half, scoring 30 unanswered points. The Bears quarterback threw seven touchdown passes, four of which went to Logan DeLuca. Three Bears' interceptions and a touchdown run by Laura Pepe put the finishing touches on the Falcons' season.

Head coach Scott Baylis has now won three straight PAL Flag Football Championships. Great job to the Bears and the rest of our PAL players. Thank you to everyone who helped, the parents and the players for all their hard work and dedication! See you next season!
