The Raiders overcame a one point deficit at halftime to defeat the Vikings, 40-33. The Vikings led at halftime 21-20, but a quick touchdown to start the second half put the Raiders in the lead, one they would not forfeit again. The Raiders had a well balanced offense throughout the game, as five players contributed touchdowns in the game, which included two late touchdowns by Myles Hughes to help stymie the Vikings efforts in the second half. Daniel Berg and Greg Smith connected twice in the second half as they tried to claw back into the game, but the Vikings fell short on fourth and long on their final drive.
The Eagles earned their second win against the Falcons this season as they, too, overcame a first half deficit to win 54-33. The Falcons offense seemed unstoppable in the first half, scoring on all four of their possessions en route to their 25-20 halftime lead. However, the Eagles rallied in the second half, giving up only 8 points and scoring 34 points themselves. Sebastian Stevens, Kevin Williams, and Mather Rappa each added touchdown catches from Ryan Williams in the final minutes to seal the Eagles fourth victory of the year.
The Ravens won their second straight game on Thursday as they held on to beat the Titans, 37-28. The Ravens jumped out to an early lead thanks to their great rushing attack, going into halftime with a 24-6 lead. The Titans, lead by receiver Zach Orendorf, quickly gained momentum late in the second half, as two late touchdowns put the Titans within a point of the Ravens. The Ravens quickly halted the Titans comeback, as Brenden Fitzgerald hauled in a tremendous one handed catch from quarterback Dallas Towner to seal the victory for the birds.
