The Bulls finished the regular season in the PAL 8-12 year old Basketball League this fall after defeating the Kings, 34-11. The 6-0 Bulls had three players finish with double digit points, as Frank DiStefano, Alexis Ferrell, and Jahmar Harris all topped that mark. Zach Gane led the Kings in scoring with nine points in their losing effort.
The Celtics held on to beat the Heat 26-24, deadlocking both teams in second place as the season closed. Point guard DJ Cuttino and Josh Lefton scored 25 of the Celtics 26 points in the win. Center Brandon Brewer notched a team high eight points for the Heat, who lost after missing a scoring opportunity to tie the game with just under five seconds left to play.
The playoffs will start next week as the Bulls take on the Kings at 6pm and the Heat and Celtics squaring off again at 5pm. The playoffs are single elimination as the winning teams in the first round will play in the championship on Monday, December 19th at 5:30. Good luck to all the teams!
