The Spurs remained undefeated as they came back to overtake the Suns, 24-18. Joseph Sammons put up 20 of the Spurs 24 points, while Ryan Williams netted 15 for the Suns in their losing effort. The Celtics put together yet another comeback, overcoming a ten point deficit early to beat the Sixers, 35-34. Daniel Berg led the Sixers to a quick start, racking up three steals in the first few minutes. He finished the game with 19 points. The Celtics, however, saw the league's highest output of points by one man, Timothy Pittman, as he tallied 24 total points. He was also able to maneuver the basketball in the final :30 seconds to seal the win for the 2nd place Celtics.
The Spurs (6-0) will host the Suns (1-5) again next week at 6:00pm in the first round of the playoffs. Game 1 of the playoffs will feature the Celtics (4-2) against the Sixers (1-5) at 5:00pm. The two teams have played each other twice already, as the Celtics took the first match in overtime by 3 points, while the last game ended with a 1 point difference. It should be interesting to see who advances to the championship on February 1st.
