The last place Suns pulled off a thrilling upset over the previously undefeated Spurs in the PAL 8-11 year old basketball league last night 18-17.  The game was marked by pressure defense on both sides, as the Suns were able to hold Spurs star, Joseph Sammons, to a season low 12 points throughout the contest.  Ryan Williams led the offensive attack for the Suns, finishing with 8 points.  Timothy Metzler followed closely with 6 of the Suns 18 points in their shocking victory.
The Sixers also came away with an upset win over the second place Celtics with a 28-22 victory.  The two guard duo of Daniel Berg and Luke Perrone proved to be too much for the Celtics to handle, as Berg dropped 6 with Perrone leading the way with 11 points.  The Celtics were led by Timothy Pittman, who was controlled for most of the game, with 8 points.
Next week's championship game will pit the Suns against the Sixers in their third match up of the season.  The two split the season series with one victory a piece.  The championship will be at 6pm with the third place game between the Spurs and Celtics being played at 5pm.
