The Colts and Falcons both tallied commanding victories in PAL Flag Football this past Friday. The Colts upended the third place Titans 56-24 in the first game of the night. David Robinson led the charge for the Colts, hauling in five touchdown catches throughout the game, four of which came in the second half. Daniel Berg also added two touchdowns, both on unbelievable acrobatic catches. Jonathan Roberts was the highlight of the Titans offense, collecting two touchdowns in their losing effort.
The NFC leading Falcons remained undefeated with a 42-26 win over the high-scoring Saints. The Saints started off the scoring as John Metz hauled in one of his two receiving touchdowns early on, but it was all Falcons from there. Quarterback James Hamory tallied four total touchdowns (two passing, one rushing, one receiving) and Luke Muller returned a bobbled interception for another score as the Falcons soared. Chandler Armstrong added three passing touchdowns and one receiving for the Saints, who have by far the highest scoring offense in the league.
In Thursday's games, the Bears and Bengals both remained in second place in their respective divisions with wins. The Bears used their defensive dominance to add to their win total as they stymied the Panthers 28-14. Richard Annan led the charge for the Bears offense, bringing in one touchdown catch while adding a touchdown run as Ryan Williams threw two touchdowns in the contest. The Panthers were only able to score twice, as Matthew Gamble and Jah'Mere Oakley were the only contributors to their offense.
The Bengals were able to squeak out a late second half win over the Jets, coming back to take a 34-29 victory. Jacob Hudson and Luke Perrone connected several times in the contest, as the Bengals tandem were able to outmatch that of the Jets' Andrew Chin-A-Loy and Jake Somerville. Somerville added a one handed touchdown catch that quite possibly could have been the catch of the season as time expired, but it was too little too late for the winless Jets.
