Falcons & Panthers Win Week 4 Makeups

The NFC leading Falcons clinched first place and the top seed throughout the playoffs last night with a 26-12 win over the Bengals.  James Hamory connected with Jeffrey Pala for a score twice and threw for two more touchdowns as the Falcons dominated the AFC leading Bengals.  Jacob Hudson threw two touchdowns for the Bengals, hitting Luke Perrone each time, but the Falcons defense seemed to be too much to handle as the Bengals were held to under 25 points for the first time this season.  With the loss, the Bengals have now dropped to second place in the AFC.
The Panthers recorded their second win of the season as their defense completely stymied the Jets, winning 41-8.  The Panthers picked off a total of six passes (Whipple 3, Oakley 2, Outten 1) throughout the game.  Chris Robinson contributed three total touchdowns, two in the air and one on the ground, while Matt Moretto and Robbie Neal each contributed to the Panthers' domination.
With the win by the Falcons, the NFC seeding has been set.  The only remaining question going into the playoffs is which team will win the AFC, as the Colts and Bengals both sit at 3-3.  The Colts squeaked out a 38-36 win over the Bengals in week 3, so they currently hold the tie-breaker.  A victory over the Falcons tonight or a Bengals loss to the Bears tomorrow night would clinch the top spot in the AFC for the Colts.
