The Hockessin PAL has an exciting slate of programs ongoing throughout the Fall season.
Our SAT Prep class started in early September and will run until the end of October. SAT Prep classes will be available again in the spring. Stay tuned for more details on dates and times.
Titus Sports Academy is continuing their success in training young athletes ages 8 and up. Many athletes have recently joined those who have been involved in the program for years and will soon reap the benefits of being faster, stronger, and more agile.
Kick-It Karate resumed at the beginning of the school year and will continue throughout the season. Enrollment is open and new students of all skill levels are encouraged to join!
The PAL Flag Football League is back in action, as the first games will be played on Wednesday, October 6th. With more than 50 participants on 5 teams, the league is sure to draw great competition throughout the season.
Two dances will be held at the Hockessin PAL in October for 6th-8th graders. The dances are on October 1st and October 29th. The dance on the 29th is a Halloween Dance. Dance goers are encouraged to wear costumes, as a panel of PAL employees will judge the best costumes! Please, no masks or other props.
The PAL in Garfield Park is excited to announce the date of the annual PAL Crab Feast on October 22nd. The all you can eat event features fresh steamed crabs and a wide variety of food and will run from 7 to 11PM. Tickets are just $35 and include all you can eat plus two free alcoholic beverages (non-alcoholic beverages are free all night). You must be 21 years or older to attend.
Wrestling and other programs are ongoing and looking to generate interest from PAL members. Every Monday night from 6 to 8PM is drop-in wrestling night at the Hockessin PAL. It's free! Stop in our office to get information about basketball and floor hockey leagues as the leagues will be forming shortly!
