The Wildcats took a commanding lead by using their man to man defense to right from the start, defeating the Spartans 29-25. The Spartans were shut out in the first quarter, but quickly came back into contention as Dallas Towner put up a game leading 11 points in the contest. Kevin Williams led the Wildcats in offense with 10 points as Chris Robinson added 9 en route to their first victory of the season.
The 1-0 Wildcats will take on the 1-0 Tar Heels next Monday at 6pm.
